Casa Mila’
This 18th century building , completely restored in the historical
centre of Pretoro, is a few kilometres from the ski-lifts of Passolanciano Majelletta and 20 km
from the seaside.
The building has been restored preserving its original structure, with
the stones of the Majella mountain, the wrought iron produced by local
craftsmen and with the ancient construction materials. The B&B
has
six comfortable rooms, with different names and all of them with
services and with furnishings reminding the visitor of the old
times’taste.
Moreover they have a panoramic view at the same time on the Adriatic
sea, on the hills of Abruzzo,
the green woods and the imposing Majella
mountain massif. |

Locanda Mila’ (restaurant)
The inn (‘locanda’) is in the building’s old cave and it was completely
carved by hand into the
rock by the ancestors in the past times’cold winters.
Here you will rediscover the genuineness
and the simplicity of local cuisine
thanks to the excellent meals that mother Maria, an expert of local
food and cultural traditions, prepares with her own hands. Close to the
fireplace which is always on you can spend joyful moments in a homelike atmosphere, tasting
roasted chestnuts, with a good glass of wine, which is never missing in
Pretoro!
The restaurant - which completes the bed&breakfast service - is
also open for few outside guests upon reservation.
