Travelling
on the roads that cross the Foro valley, visitors are charmed by the
sight of Pretoro in the distance, a village in the National Park of
Majella set into the white rock, on the north-east side of the Majella
mountain massif, at 550 mt above sea level. The village stands
above a natural territory full of mixed woods, beechwoods pine woods,
places and ecosystems chosen as a home by the rarest dwellers of the
Park, such as the wolf and the ‘white-back’ woodpecker. And it is also
possible to hear the call of the owl or catch a glimpse of the
goshawk’s flight. How to get to Casa Mila’
